Inclusive Sizing & Size Chart

Inclusive Sizing

Connemara Wool uses an inclusive sizing model for our apparel. We believe in offering a range of sizes in order to offer options to our customers as well as empowering people to feel good in their Connemara Wool clothing.

Our garments are made to be worn by all people and cover chest measurements ranging from 76cm/26in - 188cm/74in.

We do not use traditional sizing numbers and opt instead to use chest measurements to indicate sizing.

 How to Measure Yourself

Please see below guide to taking measurements to determine size.

If you have a flexible tape measure:

  1. Using a flexible measuring tape, circle your chest underneath your arm pits across the fullest part of your chest. Make sure you are wearing close fitting clothing and not baggy clothing.
  2. Keep the tape measure level and neither too tight nor too loose.
  3. Make note of the measurement.

If you do not have a flexible tape measure:

  1. Using a string, circle your chest underneath your arm pits across the fullest part of your chest. Make sure you are wearing close fitting clothing and not baggy clothing.
  2. Keep the string level and neither too tight nor too loose.
  3. Tie a knot in the string to indicate your measurement.
  4. Lie the string flat and measure with a ruler, straight measuring tape, etc.
  5. Make note of the measurement.

If you are not able to measure yourself:

  1. Find your favorite close fitting shirt and lay it out on a flat surface.
  2. Taking your measuring tape or string, lay it across the jumper at the point below the sleeves.
  3. Take note of this measurement.
  4. Multiply this measurement x2 and you will have your chest measurement.
